Shot over four days in Cornwall between Christmas and New Year and one very cold night in Kent, this adventurous mini-epic surf movie – featuring UK Under-18 surf champion Seb Smart – brings out the widescreen feel of the Goldhawks’ grandiose new single Where In The World. And there’s some awesome footage of young Seb negotiating heavy seas, shot by Richard Stewart.
Directors Nick Rutter and Ben Timlett of Bill & Ben Productions normally make documentaries – including ones on Monty Python, and Sid and Nancy. Meanwhile, Goldhawks – named after the West London street where they come from – release their debut album later this year.
